For travelers who enjoy sea days and a relaxed pace, a longer voyage can feel very different from taking several shorter trips back to back. You have time to settle in, enjoy the ship, and experience the destinations without feeling rushed.
Yes, and that is an important part of this itinerary. Crossing the Pacific requires stretches of sea days, which is why choosing the right ship and cabin matters.
Koningsdam does not have self-service guest laundry rooms. Instead, Holland America offers full-service laundry from your stateroom, and laundry packages are purchased per room.
Recent pricing has been around $35 per wash-and-fold bag. Unlimited laundry packages often work out at roughly $9–$10 per day per stateroom, with pricing varying by voyage and sometimes becoming more favorable on longer cruises. We will confirm the current price for your sailing before you travel.
